Seymours Court
A view looking north from Rudge Lane to Seymours Court. Now a B&B establishment, the building dates from around 1480 and is believed to have been commissioned by Sir Thomas Seymour, a noble at the court of Henry VIII.

Very near the entrance to Seymour Court. The trees and hedges are freshly greened, the verges are quickly becoming overgrown and special care must be taken when driving.

Green Park Lane joins it here from the left, then it heads off for Rudge over a mile away, but a pleasant walk. The entrance to Seymour's Court is on the left before the bend.

Field of crop south east of Rode, Wiltshire
The farm in the distance is Seymour's Court (in the next southerly square), reputed to have been visited by Jane Seymour, wife of Henry the Eighth. The path on the right dips down to Moberley Pond and crosses a stream before rising up past the farm.
