Sign for the Bell Inn, Buckland Dinham
If you see a pub with a sign of a bell, look around for the church. This ancient sign originated with pubs attached to or near early churches.

The Bell Inn, Buckland Dinham
The inn was built in the 18th century and the building is Grade II listed. It does very good lunches.

Old Milestone, A362, Buckland Dinham
The milestone is located at the west end of the village, at the edge of a garden on the north side of the road. Parish of Buckland Dinham (Mendip District). Metal plate attached to stone post, Radstock iron plate design, erected by the Radstock turnpike trust in the 18th century. At some time after 1904, re-located from High Street.
