In this open space a pool has been created in the course of the Ipsley Brook. One bank fronts a small park http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4008571 These are the more secluded areas for wildlife.

Many bus shelters in the New Town are delightfully decorated with colourful translucent designs. This one has a theme of children in sport and leisure. The text at the bottom of the panel reads: "This artwork was created by the young people of Matchborough, in collaboration with the artist Paul Clifford, to show why they believe that Matchborough Matter…[illegible].
