Site of The Bromford
On the site of the now completely demolished Image, this land is being redeveloped for mixed use residential and commercial purposes, of which the first part of the steel frame has already been erected.

Drews Lane, Bromford
The name Drews Lane is synonymous with the old LDV Vans business, whose assembly plant lay just northwest of here. It went into receivership in 2008, and the factory was demolished a couple of years later.

Bromford Bridge
This bridge carries Bromford Lane (!) over the River Tame Image Notice the bricked up doorway in the parapet. This would have housed one of the characteristic red doorways installed during WWII to provide quick emergency access to the water supply for the fire brigade.
