Explorer in the urban jungle
Which is what I was, though without a spray can, as I walked along the towpath of the Grand Union Canal in Nechells. Artist unknown - though 'Reebok' may be their signature, their 'nom de peinture'.

Security fencing along the Grand Union towpath
On a traffic-free cycle route in Saltley, Birmingham. The small bump in the towpath is probably the remains of a bridge or culvert.

Chinese Supermarket
Some of the buildings at this extensive supermarket. The architectural style seems a strange mixture with vaguely Chinese and Thai features.

Grand Union Canal south of Nechells, Birmingham
Looking north towards Salford Junction. The two and a half mile former Birmingham and Warwick Junction Canal, linking Bordesley Junction with Salford Junction, is sometimes referred to as the Saltley Cut. This narrow section is by overflow channels into the River Rea, and the flow into a sidepond from a small feeder stream from the east.
