We are adopting a pragmatic, intelligence-led approach focused on gathering information and data to guide our efforts. |
14 May 2024 | Serious Youth Violence - specifically targeting robberies and knife related crime. Response (29 Sep 2024)Despite achieving the lowest recorded number of robberies across the force since March 2021, coupled with the highest prosecution rate in April this year, our commitment to further reducing these figures remains unwavering. We maintain a zero-tolerance stance on knife crime and will pursue arrests whenever possible to ensure public safety. |
28 May 2024 | Vehicle crime and car cannibalism Response (29 Sep 2024)We are aware of the recent increase in vehicle-related crime, including incidents of car cannibalism, within Nechells. In response, we are strategically allocating resources to address this issue through targeted patrols and proactive enforcement, with the goal of achieving a measurable reduction in these offenses. |
