The Oak House at Sandwell
Now a museum run by the Sandwell Council, the Grade II* listed Oak House http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-219328-oak-house- is a former farm house which has somehow managed to survive the urban spread around it. Built between 1590 and 1630 (although there's a carving on the frontage which says 1488), it features a heavily panelled interior as well as the obvious half-timbered exterior.
