Road off Hafren Close
This short section of road is situated in the middle of a housing estate dating mostly (I guess) from the 1960s. It preserves the line of the lane that served as access to the long-gone Frogmill Farm. The road ends about 65 metres in front of the photographer at a metal fence (just visible). At that point the Rubery and Frankley Railway crossed the lane and can be walked (line of lamp posts just visible in front of distant conifers). The open land in the right of the view once contained a runaway siding for the railway. http://www.miac.org.uk/ruberyfrankley.html

Former chapel of the Hollymoor Hospital
Built in 1905 to a design by Martin and Martin, architects of Birmingham; the chapel at that time was attached to the 'Mental Asylum' hospital, much of which apart from the water tower has now been demolished. The chapel retains a good deal of its original internal fittings, and was Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101234339-chapel-at-hollymoor-hospital-longbridge-ward & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1234339 in 1993.

New Housing on Egghill Lane
This view shows the northern edge of a major area of residential redevelopment comprising regeneration of the Egghill Estate and including about 500 or 600 new homes. The area is bounded by Frogmill
Road to the west, Tessall Lane to the south and east and Egghill
Lane to the north. The junction of Norrington Road and Egghill Lane is visible across the foundation slabs.
