Great Barr railway station (site), West Midlands
Opened in 1862 as "Hamstead and Great Barr" by the London & North Western Railway on the line from Birmingham via Bescot to Stafford, this station became "Great Barr" in 1875. It closed in 1899 when it was replaced by the current ("Hamstead") station on the other side of the Old Walsall Road bridge, from where this image was taken.

Listed bridge over the Tame
This late 18th or early 19th century bridge was Grade II listed https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101343115-bridge-over-the-river-tame-opposite-hamstead-station-perry-barr-ward#.Wqvg0NSLTGg in 1981, and once formed the route from the east to the medieval house (demolished in the early 19th century) of Hamstead Hall.
