Retail building under construction
The building under construction is to be primarily be a Marks & Spencer grocery store and, if reports are accurate, a medical centre. The site was formerly the Meteor Ford car dealership. The 'Camp Hill Line' railway runs in a tunnel below the road just in front of the photographer.

Wall with Benchmark, St Mary's Row
In the inter-war period, six detached houses were built on the site of an older house on the corner of St Mary's Row and Church Road. The houses fronting onto St Mary's Row are set back with a service road separated from the main road by a double wall and vegetation. There is a cut benchmark visible halfway up the wall directly facing the photographer.

Junction of Oxford Road and St Mary's Row
This junction will change later in 2022 when a roundabout is constructed to form a new access to the new railway station which will be off to the left in this view. The building on the right is the M&S Foodhall and also contains some other businesses and apartments. See Image for an older view.

This mock Tudor parade is set well back from the main road and contains a pharmacy, a Michelin-starred British restaurant and several other businesses.

Parade of shops, Wake Green Road, Moseley, south Birmingham
Perhaps originally houses, this development first appears on a map of 1938, set back as now from Wake Green Road. At least three frontages are occupied by Kangs Solicitors. There is a Washeteria coin-operated laundry. Google Streetview further shows a Thai-Malaysian-Chinese takeaway or restaurant with a Just Eat sign, two estate agents and a motor insurance agent. Behind the camera is a pharmacy and a 'modern British' restaurant. Down the road at the corner of Oxford Road is an M&S Foodhall.
