Perhaps originally houses, this development first appears on a map of 1938, set back as now from Wake Green Road. At least three frontages are occupied by Kangs Solicitors. There is a Washeteria coin-operated laundry. Google Streetview further shows a Thai-Malaysian-Chinese takeaway or restaurant with a Just Eat sign, two estate agents and a motor insurance agent. Behind the camera is a pharmacy and a 'modern British' restaurant. Down the road at the corner of Oxford Road is an M&S Foodhall.
