Cast iron railings outside the Anderton Park Primary School
Victorian cast iron railings installed immediately along the frontage of the school, and included as part of the Grade II listinghttps://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101396414-anderton-park-school-caretakers-house-and-victorian-railings-sparkbrook-ward#.W9a-UUv7RPY which was granted in 2011. Attitudes to child safety were clearly different in those days - presumably there was less concern about the little darlings skewering themselves, or each other.

Park in Balsall Heath
Looking across the park which has been cleaned up as part of the rejuvenation project, largely triggered by the force 3 tornado which hit South Birmingham on the 28th July, 2005. See http://www.balsallheathforum.org.uk/start.htm . On the skyline the distinctive shape of the BT tower and some of the Birmingham city centre buildings can be seen.
