Neel Dentistry, Welwyn
Neel Dentistry operates from this rather bijou-looking premises at the junction of High Street and School Lane. This corner of Welwyn village seems devoted to health care facilities with a doctor's surgery and another dental practice in the immediate vicinity. The K6 telephone box contains a working telephone.

The Steamer, Welwyn
This pub on London Road dates from about 1851. The unusual name is thought to derive from the coming of the railway (Digswell Viaduct is visible from the pub). The sign, however, depicts a different use of the word - the practice of adding an additional horse, a 'steamer', to a wagon to assist in the ascent of the hill towards Hatfield. The pub was acquired by McMullen’s, a Hertford brewery, in 1920 and it remains part of their estate today.
