Nicholas Breakspear Catholic School
Roman Catholic secondary school on the outskirts of St Albans, opened in 1963. It was named after Nicholas Breakspear, who as Adrian IV was pope from 1154 to 1159. Born and educated in the St Albans area, he was the only English pope.
