Lane to the hospital, Tyttenhanger.
I'm not at all sure that this is still a hospital, there are no signs that I could see to suggest that it is although there are lots of signs which say PRIVATE.

Tyttenhanger: Highfield Lane
This is the southern end of Highfield Lane where it meets the A414 North Orbital Road. In times gone by it would have been possible to cross over the main road and continue down White Horse Lane, which is opposite, and into London Colney.

Tyttenhanger: Highfield Lane
This is the entrance to the village with the junction of Highfield Lane with Tyttenhanger Green visible in the distance. Also visible in the distance is the village sign. The vergeside white post and rail arrangement at the entrance to a populated area from a rural one seems to have become increasingly popular recently.
