Redbourn Cricket Club
This view was taken looking northwards across the common towards Redbourn Cricket Club's pitch. The club was formed about 1823, but organised cricket was played on Redbourn Common here some eighty years earlier, and some County histories record cricket being played on the Common in 1666. This all makes the Club one of the oldest village clubs in England. The Club's website is here http://www.redbourncricketclub.org.uk/club/club.html

St Mary's Church, Redbourn
The church dates from 1100, and in 1140 a Norman arcade of three bays and north aisle were added. The south arcade and aisle was added in 1350.
