Struan House
The house was completed in 1885, and features crowstepped gables and an octagonal tower, the top of which is now missing. The flowerbeds have been planted with a wild flower mix that provides a colourful if slightly incongruous foreground.

Speyside Way Start, Buckie
The start point of this long-distance footpath has apparently moved from Buckpool photo Image since 2005, possibly as a result of the railway cutting infilling works in Buckie (see photo Image). The view here faces the harbour.

Buckie War Memorial
The memorial was commissioned by Buckie Town Council in 1921, designed by John Kinross (1855-1931), sculpted by William Birnie Rhind (1853-1933) and erected in the middle of Cluny Square, where it was unveiled in 1925. It was later moved to this site in the north-west quadrant of the Square, because it was thought that it was a traffic hazard.

War Memorial
By John Kinross, with a banner by W Birnie Rhind, and dating from 1924-1925, the war memorial was originally sited in the middle of Cluny Square, but was moved here because it was seen as an obstruction to traffic and potentially dangerous for those wishing to view it.

Cluny Square
Compare with Image], noting that the wild flowers of two years ago have been replaced by a splendid display of horticultural colour which must have taken a good deal of work to achieve.
