Former tollhouse
Surveyed by the Milestone Society. Auchinhove toll house is on the A95 opposite the B9018 junction where there is the milestone. It has been modernised with the removal of chimneys and extensions added. There may have been a door at the front between the side windows.

Old Milestone by the A95, Auchinhove, Keith Parish
By the A95, in parish of Keith (Moray District), junction of the A95 with the B9018, opposite Auchinhove Toll House in front of garden wall of large house.
Inscription reads:- : M. F. Yds. / 10.6.121. / From / Cullen :
Carved bench mark and rivet on top.

Stripeside Farm
A traditional stone house set comfortably back from the A95, from which this photograph was taken. The snow in the foreground field has been disturbed by a flock of sheep, which were reluctant to move into my field of view and provide foreground interest. This Stripeside is in the parish of Grange, and not to be confused with similarly named places in other parishes.

Auchinhove Toll House on A95 near Keith.
This former Toll House has been converted to a dwellinghouse and is situated at the junction of A95 and B9018.

Restored Milestone
The milestone is situated opposite Auchinhove Tollhouse at the junction of A95 and the B road to Cullen. Nostalgic days before metrication!!!

Old Pens and Old Road
The tarmac is a short stretch of the old A95, cut off when the road was realigned. Beside it is a series of crumbling pens, probably once used for handling sheep. The buildings are at Auchinhove.
