Former tollhouse
Surveyed by the Milestone Society. This building on the A920 is probably an old tollhouse. The bay front with windows each side would give good views each way along the road. There is also a junction on the north side of the road leading to the road northwards towards Banff and Port Soy. Built of rubble stone with a slate roof it is typical of many properties used as tollhouses in Scotland.
