Recycled Railway Carriage
It was so common for crofts and farms to install an old railway carriage as a shed or hen house that the Aberdeenshire Farming Museum in Aden Country Park at Mintlaw made a point of getting one. It is probably in rather better condition than this example.

Lost in the First World War were Alexander Brodie, William Brand, John Duncan, William Fraser, Charles Reid, Charles Riddoch, Peter Taylor and John Taylor, and in the Second World War Charles McDonald, George Patterson and William Brand.
