Ardmore Distillery
The name of this distillery is not at all apt. The Gaelic 'ard mòr' means 'large high place' but the distillery is built on flat land! However it produces a very palatable single malt, as well as whisky for blending. The hill in the background is Knockandy Hill.

Empty casks await filling in the courtyard at Ardmore Distillery. The distillery is the home of Teacher's whisky but this, being a blended whisky, contains other whiskies than just the single malt produced here.
