Cairnhill
Marked as Little Cairnhill on the Ordnance Survey's Victorian six-inch maps, this farm is now anything but little. Discreet badges on fence posts proclaim that it is organic, and there are swathes of land left uncultivated for wildlife, as well as several wind turbines.

Headwater of Aultan Burn
The burn is full of yellow Mimulus, and flanked by land left uncultivated, presumably for wildlife.

The field with the crop of oats is all in this square, but Everton of Auchry, beyond the trees on the horizon, is in the next square.

Whither the Arrow?
The track from Cairnhill to Everton of Auchry is signposted as a path. Part of the way along it is this arrow. However it doesn't indicate a path. There is no easy way through the vegetation, and no means of crossing the burn if you did get through.
