New Byth War Memorial
The war memorial stands at the north end of the village, in a small square beside the B9027 as it enters the village from the north. The blue sign on the gable of the second house advertises a motor business which is more conspicuous from the other side.

Main Street
I was intrigued by the tiny house (No 9) with just one door and one window in the lane to the left of the sandstone cottage, but I cannot make up my mind whether it is a back door to the cottage, or a separate house. The building that looks like a kirk has a notice saying it is New Byth and Monquhitter Parish Hall.
