When banks looked like banks...
Former Town and County Bank, High Street, Turriff. According to the Buildings of Scotland (Pevsner) Guide, it is in "modest Cinquecento palazzo" style. Note the carved heads above the ground floor windows and the huge first floor sash windows. Originally, the left door was for the bank and the right door for the agent's house.
