Old milestone off the A96
Just off the current A96 on the original line of the main road near Thainstone is the 14 miles from Aberdeen stone https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6821857. It is 2 miles south of Inverurie.

Old milestone off the A96
A close up of the 14 mile stone on the route from Aberdeen to Inverurie situated on the No Through Road section of the old A96 at Thainstone. It is the typical cylindrical granite stone with a number on the bevel, set up all over Aberdeenshire.
