Bridge No More
All that remains of a bridge over the Urie than once carried the Oldmeldrum Branch Line from Inverurie. The bridge itself has long gone leaving only the supports. The ridge behind carries the B9170.

Abandoned Bridge
Once carrying a Branch Line from Inverurie to Oldmeldrum all that remains are the supports. A view east with the Urie flowing towards new housing to meet the Don in a mile or so.

Versatile Steel Works
On North Street, Inverurie.
The site looks a bit deserted, but google says they are (or were) Steel Fabricators and Erectors.
Plans to build 49 flats on this site in 2009 were rejected.
