Midmill Primary School, Kintore
The futuristic school opened in 2016 and the pupil roll is 92 in 2019-20 but is set to expand considerably (capacity 540) to meet demand in the rapidly expanding commuter village. Ruin of Hill of Tuach stone circle

Former granite quarry, Hill of Tuach.
One of several on the hill; the Canmore record (241621: https://canmore.org.uk/site/241621/tuach-hill-quarries ) suggests that they were already out of use in the mid-19th Century but there are still big chunks of granite absolutely everywhere...
