Midmill Primary School, Kintore
The futuristic school opened in 2016 and the pupil roll is 92 in 2019-20 but is set to expand considerably (capacity 540) to meet demand in the rapidly expanding commuter village. Former granite quarry, Hill of Tuach.
One of several on the hill; the Canmore record (241621: https://canmore.org.uk/site/241621/tuach-hill-quarries ) suggests that they were already out of use in the mid-19th Century but there are still big chunks of granite absolutely everywhere...
