17 Low Street, Portsoy
Mid 19th century in its current form, but clearly the upper storey is an addition to an earlier building, the change in the stonework being very evident both on the main frontage and the gable end. Listed Category C.

Lane off Low Street
A steep lane off Low Street leads up to the back of a house in High Street. The white cat originally had its back to me, but was persuaded without difficulty to turn round and pose for the camera.

Low Street
My eye was caught by the building on the left, numbers 21-23, with its Georgian fanlight and pair of Venetian windows. It is the base of a local organisation named 'Portsoy Past and Present', and I was amused to see in the window (unphotographable, I'm afraid) a poster reading 'The Future of Portsoy Past and Present'. Pity about the parked cars spoiling the view.

Pend between North High Street and Low Street
A handy short cut from one street to another. I had a modest amount of trouble getting this shot - it was bin day today and I had to shift a couple of heavy bins that were obstructing the view, and then of course shift them back again.
