War Memorial, The Knowes, Macduff
Built from Kemnay granite. Architects Henderson & Fowlie 1920. The foundation stone was laid by Prince & Princess Arthur of Connaught 15 April 1920. Climb to the top for a fine view over the town.

Macduff war memorial, Banffshire
The memorial was designed by local architect John Fowlie and the foundation stone was laid in April 1920 by Prince and Princess Arthur of Connaught (a daughter of the Duke of Fife). It is a category B listed building.

Macduff War Memorial
The impressive tower stands on a high point and is visible from most parts of the town. It is built of Kemnay granite, and commemorates the men of Macduff who were killed during both World Wars.
