The village of Crimond suffers from having the main A90 straight through the middle of it. It gave its name to the tune to which the metrical version of the 23rd psalm is usually sung.

61 minute clock, Crimond Church
Bearing the inscription "The hour's coming" the church clock has an extra minute between the eleven and twelve making for 61 minutes in the hour.

Original Crimond School
Replaced by a modern school in the mid-sixties to accommodate Baby-boom pupil numbers (this building was augmented by WW2 military nissen huts etc).
Now used as Senior Citizens' community centre.
(Personal note: photographer's first day at school here in August 1960)

Crimond Medical Centre and Community Hub: interior
Construction began in 2012, and the centre is due to open in November 2017. It will house the local medical practice, as well as a pharmacy and a coffee shop.
