Water of Tyrie
Looking west (upstream) from the Old Brig of Tyrie. The Water of Tyrie is little more than a ditch, and is becoming overgrown with vegetation. Compare this with Image], taken in January 2007. The modern house in the distance bears the date 2005.

Minor road approaching Kirkhill
Looking eastward. Over the wall on the right is the 'new' Tyrie Kirk burial ground. Before straightening and widening this would be the route of the A98.

Tyrie War Memorial
The war memorial is an obelisk of grey granite. Two faces list parishioners lost in 1914-1918, and this one lists the much smaller number lost in 1939-1945. One hopes that the fourth face will never be needed.
