Steps at Water of Cruden
Steps leading down to the Water of Cruden which exits to the sea near to Slains Castle at Cruden Bay. Nearby are the ruins of a dwelling (off camera), whose midden occasionally deposits old broken crockery, glass and other domestic detritus from many years ago into the water. Presumably the steps gave access to the stream as a water supply for at least one dwelling in the locale.
