Water of Cruden
The tidal estuary of the small burn has had its bank stabilized here. This is a pedestrian route from car park to the beach.

Kilmarnock Arms Hotel, Cruden Bay
originally a coaching Inn for a stage of the Peterhead to Aberdeen route ( stables still prominent) Bram Stoker stayed here and supposedly got the inspiration for Dracula from nearby Slains Castle.
Although Whitby in England makes a similar claim!
