Bailie Gordon's Coat of Arms
The coat of arms belonged to Bailie James Gordon who bought Ellon Castle in 1706, and it was relocated here when the Tolbooth was demolished in 1842. The building is Category B Listed, but the description https://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB31099 makes it clear that only the sculpted panel is actually of interest.
