Level crossing site, Formartine and Buchan Railway
These signs make me radge! Just once in a while, very rarely is there a need to dismount when you see one and this is one of those occasions. The sign is totally unnecessary, yes we can cross a farm drive using the Green Cross Code thanks, and you have to get off to negotiate the barrier across the path. There are rather too many of these on the route. The Buchan and Formartine way is great if you like old railways and don't mind a bit of rough ground; if you want to get somewhere, use the roads. I enjoyed it. This sign is advisory only.
