Foveran Parish Kirk
The kirk from the kirkyard. The stones here include interesting epitaphs of the seafarers from Newburgh, the largest village in the parish of Foveran.

Foveran parish kirk
Built 1794 in typical rectangular style with 'birdcage' bellcote to replace a medieval predecessor, which has disappeared completely. The apse-like organ chamber (which sits behind the pulpit) protruding from the south wall, was added in 1900. The kirk, which contains the A-listed Turing monument, is now apparently out of use and a very faded notice at the kirkyard entrance directs potential worshippers to Newburgh, about 1.5 km to the north-east.
