Former Free Church, Charlestown Road, Aboyne
The B-listed church (LB44449: http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB44449 ) overlooking Aboyne Green and the more modest building of the established church was erected in 1859 and now hosts community events.

Buildings on the east side of the village green - Aboyne
Seen at sunset in spring, this group of buildings overlooks the village green in Aboyne. The building on the left is now a restaurant. The building having previously been a butchers and then a bakers, the restaurant owners have called their business "The Candlestick-Maker".
