Drum Castle and Tower
"From the ancient High Hall to new art exhibitions there is something for every kind of heritage lover at Drum. Don't miss the Garden of Historic Roses which has over 200 varieties. Drum Castle
The main body of the house is Jacobean with a Victorian extension but the tower is medieval. It is now a National Trust for Scotland property.

Irvine arms...
...beside the entrance to Drum Castle. The Irvine family https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clan_Irvine ) claim their descent from the armour-bearer of Robert the Bruce: argent three small sheaves or bundles of holly, two and one, each consisting of as many leaves slipped vert, banded gules. Crest: a sheaf of nine holly leaves vert. Supporters: two savages, wreathed about the head and middle with holly, each carrying in their hands a baton all proper. Motto: sub sole, sub umbra, virens (flourishing in sunshine and shade).
