Granite villas, Rosemount Place, Aberdeen
A nice row of utterly typical granite houses unique to Aberdeen, although the end windows are possibly not an original feature. The rounded dormer windows are very distinctive.

Rosemount Place, Aberdeen
A popular residential area containing a variety of good shops both independent e.g. fishmonger, butcher, baker, lighting shop, children's clothes & well known national names. A great and popular alternative to shopping in the CBD in large shopping malls.

Wallfield Place, Aberdeen
These tall granite buildings are now sub-divided into flats and this will probably be their downfall. Some are well maintained, and some are not. Gutterings and down-pipes need attention, whilst windows and doors are a mix of new and old.Parking is a nightmare, and even with a voucher system in place it is a case of first come, first served.

A glimpse down Thomson Street, Rosemount, Aberdeen
The fine granite terrace, sparkling in the winter sunshine, slopes down toward Victoria Park. Unfortunately there is a chronic shortage of parking spaces in most streets in Rosemount.
