Scotstown School, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen
Built in the 1970s with the school name on the end of the building in the Profil typeface. I thought this typeface was classic (dated) 1970s, but in fact it dates from 1946: http://ultraboldblog.printweek.com/2009/02/28/profil/ .

The Glover House, Balgownie
A Victorian home preserved. TBG was a famous son of Aberdeen who was one of the first westerners to bring industry to Japan. His former home in Nagasaki was one of the few homes to withstand the WWII atom-bomb attack.
