Water pipe across the Culter Burn
The pipe and bridge cross the gorge and Culter Burn, the bridge carries the A93 and has been recently reinforced, the pipe is the mains water pipe to Aberdeen.

Sluice on the Culter Burn
A dam was formed on the Culter Burn to supply the former Culter Paper Mills, which closed in 1981, with water, the pipe in the lade to carry water to the mill and the sluice is all that remains of the mill, apart from articles in the local museum. The site is now a housing estate called Millside!.
