Hilltop Lodge
This was originally a relatively isolated house, but it is now right next door to the large and potentially noisy Badentoy Park industrial estate. Even today, on 2 January, I could hear metallic hammering and sawing going on somewhere beyond the house.

Also known as Hilltop Lodge Stone Circle and Badentoy Stone circle, this circle has been very much disturbed. It may have been just part of a larger circle, and it is known that the stones are not in their original positions. The surrounding dyke is also 'modern', whatever that means. A mutilated stone circle, although given where it is it is perhaps remarkable that it has survived at all. https://canmore.org.uk/site/37208/craighead
