Aberdeen Roofscene
View over the roof of Aberdeen Station towards the Union Square annex car park and behind it the British Telecom office block. Aberdonians still refer to it as the "joint station" because it served two different companies (Caledonian Railway and Great North of Scotland Railway) before 1923 and the London Midland and Scottish and London and North Eastern Railways between 1923 and 1948. The "Aberdeen Joint Station" name was officially dropped in 1952.

Affleck Street, Aberdeen
An apartment block on Affleck Street, close to the city centre in Aberdeen. The railings at the end of Affleck Street show signs of damage from being hit by a motor vehicle. This image was taken on a dull and wet day. The smudge on the corner of the building is rain water on the camera lens, which is an unfortunate risk of taking photographs in the rain.
