The verse on the grave of Captain David Davies, who died in 1894, reads as follows: The stormy winds and Neptune's waves Have tossed me to and fro In spite of all by God's decree I have harboured here below Where at anchor here I lie With many of my fleet But now at last I must set sail Our saviour Christ to meet.
