Cobbled streets in London are quite unusual these days and this one unfortunately has succumbed to the service utility providers need to maintain their facilities, but in so doing replacing the cobbles with unsightly concrete. Old editions of the Ordnance Survey mapping show houses to the left along here and coal wharves to the right.
