Footpath along the Smite Brook

This footpath from Lutterworth Road (Foss Way) to Smeaton Lane runs alongside the Smite Brook at the foot of the field, passing through the kissing gate just visible in the hedge directly ahead. Beyond the gate, a permissive diversion offers an alternative route to the legal alignment, which (at the time of this photograph) had been cultivated.
