Railway Cottage, Outon

The line of former track bed of the Wigtownshire Railway track (1877-1964) lies to the left of this ruined cottage just north of Whithorn. The architecture of the cottage is similar to other buildings of that railway so it is possible that this was a level crossing keeper's house.
