Local residents raised concerns about the old scout hut on Elm Road, reporting that the building was attracting anti-social behaviour.

We visited the location and spoke directly with residents to understand the full extent of the issue.
They reported noise disturbances, damage to the building and concerns of it being set alight. However, due to it already being in a bad state of repair, their main concern was the fear of injury - particularly to young people accessing the site.
Following community feedback, the owners of the site were notified and requested to assess the situation. They responded swiftly: safety barriers were erected, hazardous materials were removed and plans have been put in place to fully dismantle the structure.
The site is now secure and no further reports of concern have been received.

After receiving a number of complaints and speaking with local residents it was brought to our attention that it had become common practice for drivers to park at the junction of School Lane/ A41 Chester Rd.
Consequently this made it very difficult and hazardous for any driver wishing to turn right onto the fast and busy A41/Chester Rd, since their view of any oncoming traffic would often be restricted due to parked vehicles.
Following repeated visits and speaking with drivers and local businesses we have helped improve the situation with fewer vehicles now parked on the junction.
However to improve the situation further we had met with representatives from Highways last year and they are now planning later this year to install the necessary road markings to provide access protection to this junction.
These changes will result in this junction becoming much safer for road users many of whom being local residents.
