Opened in 1859 by the South Eastern Railway on the line from Dartford to London Bridge via Woolwich. View east towards Abbey Wood and Dartford. In 2024 the station gained two new lift towers to the existing 1892 SER lattice footbridge, one just visible behind the station building, and one to the left of the image. Until the 1960s, the footbridge even had a roof.
