Preserved AEC Regent III bus in High Wycombe Bus Station

This photo shows AEC Regent III RT 604 (HLX 421) in bay 1 at High Wycombe bus station having taken 2¼ hours on the Green Line feeder service 725 from Croydon to take part in the classic bus running day in High Wycombe. It has Weymann 56-seater bodywork dating from 1947 and is painted in the apple green London Country livery. Film of this journey is available on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oY8gY1J5KGs. Once it has finished running on local bus routes, it will then leave the bus station at 4.40pm the same day to return to Croydon. The red vehicle on the right of the photo is Carousel Buses 893 (BF62 JZM) a refurbished Mercedes-Benz Citaro O530 40-seater for running on the route one group of services.
